TACW Celebrates Together - New Year 2025

We were pleased to end last year with a lovely holiday turkey lunch made by Dana Zboch, pictured.

TACW is currently working on a draft for a Heritage Toronto plaque to be placed in Allen Gardens. Diane Dyer has done extensive research to summarize the history and purpose of TACW. We will review and finalize this write-up, and discuss the next steps together.

In 2024 we read and responded to Resolutions by NCWC. They were as follows:

• Human Trafficking for Sexual Purposes

• Femicide as a Distinct Article in the Criminal Code of Canada

• Refrigerants and Climate Change

The NCWC Resolutions package arrives in March for review There is no meeting in January, and our February meeting was cancelled, followed by a week of snowstorms.
